I went in with concerns about my tire pressure, and Wyatt was the one who helped me at the front desk. They have some great people working at this location, and even just stopping by to ask for some light help felt like a great part of my day. Wyatt had a great personality and made light conversation with me that made me feel welcome. Definitely knowledgeable and discusses cars and related topics in a way that makes it approachable for people not involved in the industry. I had my vehicle towed here after having several issues and eventually having it stop on me at the gas station. I want to thank Orlando for letting me know they were unable to fix it instead of charging me an insane amount of money to pretend to fix it like many mechanics would have done. We were traveling south when we ended up with a flat tire. We started at Walmart but when they were closed, we called car-x. All the guys here were amazing! They helped us get the flat and brought it in. They told us exactly what was wrong with it and then looked at the other 3 tires. After deciding we needed new tires, they let us know they couldn't get our tires needed in until the following morning (we were 2 hours away from home). When we mentioned it wasn't an option, they got out their phones and called locally until they found another shop that had our tires in stock. I was so impressed and thankful that they took the time to help us out! Thank you to all the staff at Car-X! You guys were such a help to us! x

Updated review. Did have an issue with a recent oil change at the oil change shop, which involved a significant oil leak. However, brought the vehicle back in and the manager took care of me at the main shop, fixed the issue with no charge and no hassle. Great service recovery. I would definitely give the main shop my business again.

I have gotten 3 cars serviced here (2 older vehicles In the past and now i have a newer one). Since i moved to normal, these guys canât be compared to any other shop in town. I know nothing about cars and i feel like as a lady they take the time to explain to me what i need without me feeling like Iâm paying more than i need to or getting work done i donât need. Recently, i needed an oil change and i knew something was wrong with my tire. As soon as i pulled in the mechanic confirmed what i was worried about before i even said what i needed. They know there stuff and completely put my mind at ease by actually showing me what traction was on each of my tires and answering all of my questions patiently.No matter who i speak with they have absolutely great customer service. Although i wasnât prepared to get done what i did, they worked with me by giving 3 different options of what i could do. They do all kinds of services from a quick oil change to brakes and more extensive work. Thanks for always making me feel like my vehicle is in good hands.
Fantastic place! The only place in town that I will ever go due to fact of their honesty. They are the one place that says that if something doesnt need to be done, they will tell you rather than have you fork out money for nothing. I told them that I expect a thousand dollar repair and they came back with saying it was just a sensor and a tenth of the cost I was expecting and willing to pay, and this isn't the first time. Super friendly staff that cares about their customers more than the money and that is RARE!
I was in in September to get my oil changed, as is usual they also checked the rest of the fluids in my 2016 Ford Escape. Did not realize until January 17, 2020 that i was missing my cap from the radiator case. Took it back and the young men that were there found it and pit it back on. In the mean time they found that since it was 4 months without a cap i had air in my lines, they bled my lines and fixed it at no cost to me. That is what i call great customer service!
I have been a customer of Carx services both in the Champaign and Bloomington area for almost 10 years. My parents have been customers for an even longer time before that and Scott and his staff consistently deliver the best service I can ask for. I am one to do most of the work on my vehicle on my own, but with the lack of time, equipment, and experience in certain instances, I need a shop to trust to do the best work at a fair price. I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

Very good service. Tire Rack preferred installers. They had to work to install my 335/25/20 tires and it took a little time, but they got it done. Good job. Nice guys.
I needed new front brakes and front tires. Scott and his team took time to explain and show me why the tires and brakes needed to be replaced. They were quick to get me in and offered me a courtesy ride so that I didnât have to wait in the waiting room. I also use Car-X for my oil changes and have been pleased with their service and appreciate the punch card they offer.
Great job by the team and by manager Steve Wiley. In and out in about 90 min (maybe less) for a new starter! Steven learned I was under a time crunch and worked me in on short notice. Awesome job, and terrific customer service. Highly recommend!
