I got into my car this morning to drive to Chicago for a baby shower, and of course, my check engine light popped on. I drive over to Car-X in a time constraint motivated panic and asked if they could squeeze me in to ensure I was safe to drive my vehicle long distance. Jesse and his crew hustled (and clearly multitasked, as there was also a line of cars being maintenanced in the oil change lane) to scan my vehicle, at no cost, to get me back on the road with peace of mind. I took my jeep here to get a strange noise fixed. The receptionist Jessie was a delight and gave very good advice and customer service as well as an amazing price to fix my Jeep. Fred the mechanic did an amazing job fixing the issue with my vehicle. If you’re having issues with your vehicle Car-X in Charleston is the place to go!
I was on the interstate when I had exhaust problems. The Car-X staff were true saviors! They were so kind and knowledgeable! They went above and beyond to get me back on the road, and always with a good natured laugh. I honestly can not speak highly enough of this staff and all they did! I left feeling an overwhelmed sense of gratitude!
I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service provided by the Charleston branch today! Ever person was extremely nice and helpful!The only thing I would say is that it seemed the employees were spread a bit thin and I felt bad they were so busy. Even with this they were exceptionally helpful and kind!!I had my oil changed and tires rotated.

The people of Carx were extremely helpful for me. I had some exhaust trouble and even though their exhaust guy, Frank, was yesterday, Dennis was able to work me in the next day morning. The work was not easiest and Frank was able to get it all done. It works great. I'm extremely happy. I highly recommend them. If I'm ever in the area, again, with car issues, I'll stop in, again.

The service here is above expectations. I brought my car in for an oil change and mentioned I was headed out for a long road trip. Jeff ran a courtesy inspection and pointed out a few things I should consider before the trip- and what could wait. Not pushy at all. They were able to do the work right then, the price was fair, and the car is road trip ready.

I was heading out of town. My tire was extremely low and I thought it was flat. Jessie Keeton came out and put air in it for me and made sure I was safe for my trip.
I was helped by Jessie Keeton he was very polite and knowledgeable. I wasn’t sure what was wrong with my car but he was able to figure it out and get it fixed in no time. Since having my car worked on there I haven’t had any more issues. This will be the only place I take any vehicle.
These workers are able to fix anything. I first when to them a few years ago to siphon out my gas tank. 2 years later, they were able to do a quick oil change for my car in September, get my tires filled in October, and just now fixed my gear struts in less than 2 days! I definitely will be coming back here!

NICKS THA MAN! Went in to get my oil changed for a long weekend trip to Michigan, (first trip with our 1 month d son). Turns out I was low on EVERYTHING. Had leaks..He Replaced plugs that were worn. Top off all fluids..aired up my spare tire.. Even took me under to show me what I potentially need to keep an eye on in the future. Unbelievable. Lifelong customer right here. Give that man a raise.
I was serviced by Nick and he was super helpful and courteous! It was my first time getting an oil change and he walked me through the different types and explained what my car needed. I also like the convenience that you can pull up for an oil change at any time; they took me right away. Andrew at the front desk provided great service as well. I would highly recommend!
Hey I came to them with zero notice and had my oil changed within the half hour. The staff was nice and friendly. 5 stars. For the price 30 bucks. Two thumbs up dudes.
Staff was very friendly and I received help the second I walked in the door. Even better, they got my vehicle in within 10 minutes. I was in a hurry so that was very important. Rodney finished up his last job and moved quickly onto mine. I live 30 minutes away, but this is my new “car shop”. Thanks to everyone that assisted me today.
My family has been coming to this place for decades and once I got a car of my own I have continued to do so. The people here are honest, nice, and extremely helpful. They really know their stuff about cars and treat you with a lot of respect, whether you’re just in for an oil change or more extensive work. I recommend them without hesitation and will always bring my cars here if I can.
