He took the time to help me with my car when I was done with work! I felt bad as I knew they were closing soon but he didnât make me feel rushed and just went above and beyond for me! I arrived ten minutes before closing on a Friday to ask to schedule an appointment to replace my car's battery. Patrick offered to have the battery delivered right away--even after the shop closed--so I wouldn't have to return another day. He installed it and at 5:30 I was driving away. I'd been there only 45 minutes. Many thanks to Patrick and the rest of the staff of a shop with a reputation for honesty!
I came here for a brake job a few months back. My brakes gave out on me, and it was very scary. These amazing guys in here reassured me that it would be alright. They couldnât get me in right away because they were very busy, so they recommended going to other shops nearby. I wish I could have given them my business because they were so so kind and genuine.Today, I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Kevin and the staff were kind as always. We had problems with the power steering in our vehicle. Our daughter had Car-X look at the car and give us an estimate. We contacted them to see how quickly they could work on the car and they got us in the next day. They worked on the car and had it back to us quickly. Now the best news! They found that they were able to repair our car for much less than originally quoted. Great service, courtesy, honesty topped with fair and great pricing equals five stars. Can't say enough good thingsabout them.
I must say, the respect, care and courtesy I received was far beyond I have ever received in my car care history. I felt welcomed, I was offered something to drink, while I waited for my car and I was also Informed of services I should check on in the future. Wow! These guys are phenomenal!! A big box tire company screw up my rims and chipped the paint off them also with stripping 3 lugs nuts. Patrick and Austin were super heroâs and stepped in to fix the big box tire companies screw up! If youâre looking to get work done on your car you must come and see Patrick. He was pleasant and very respectful of the situation that happened and took care of me just right!Thank you Patrick!
I initially worked with Patrick to discuss options and scheduling. Easily scheduled brake service for one car and ordered tires for another car. They checked the brakes on my first car and even went for a drive with me so I could show them my concern. They reviewed the situation and together we agreed that nothing was needed and I left with no charge. The following day I got tires installed on my second car and it went very well. Nice tires, easy scheduling, and no concerns. They also helped check my spare tire upon inquiry. Friendly staff. I will go to CarX Eagan for future service. Thanks!
I accidentally called this location, trying to reach another tire installation business in the area. The representative, Patrick, was exceptionally nice and understanding when I told him I made a mistake. However, the other location couldn't squeeze me in today and, as I got out of my car, I realized I also (fortuitously?) had a nail sticking out of my tire! I promptly called Patrick back and he said he only had two employees working today and they were pretty booked... but heard my sob story and told me to come on down. He was genial, incredibly helpful and I got my tires switched and patched without any issues. I sat in comfy chairs with free wi-fi while he and his colleague worked their butts off to get me out of there as quickly as possible. Will absolutely be back. Fabulous service. I never leave reviews but I had a great experience here getting a battery replacement and oil change. Al and Patrick really went above and beyond to make the shop a comfortable spot and ever gave me some pointers on general care of my battery. From dropping my car off in the morning to when I picked it up in the afternoon, the teamâs attitude was all positivity. Thank you both!

I never review....unless its special. Frozen windshield washer fluid. Traveling north and need this resolved. Car-X opened a bay to thaw me out. These fine folks got me out of a jam and all they charged was a thank you. It's the kind of service that makes me feel good. This gets a thumbs up 5 star review. I called the shop stressed out and in panic mode when my caliper blew on the highway when I pushed my brakes further than I should have. After limping it there, Noah, the other friendly service advisor (canât remember her name), the technicians, manager all played a part in making it an outstanding and speedy/efficient.. I explained I was hurting a bit for funds and they added an additional brake pad coupon to make it sting a little less. Iâm extremely satisfied with the results, I can stop again! From first contact to getting the keys back, it was an excellent customer experience. A big thank you to everyone involved in getting me back on the road. I would recommend this shop over any repair shop Iâve dealt with in the past. 10 stars.
Probably one of the best, if not the best, experience I've had at an auto shop. Al, the main guy that helped me out at the front desk, was super friendly and welcoming. My car started acting up that morning on my way to work and he was able to get me in later that same day and was able to get it all fixed for me by the time they closed. I can't remember the Mechanic's name, but he worked so fast on my car, it's been running so smooth since! There was also this other gentleman that asked me if I had been helped already while I was waiting. All the guys here are super friendly and attentive. If I lived closer, this would definitely be my go-to shop for sure.
Every time I have called here and asked if I could have my cars looked at, theyâve always been able to take me day of right away or a couple hours after. It might not be the same for everyone but in my situations it has worked out great. The new manager is really nice and very customer service centric as well as all the other employees. Iâve always recommended this shop to my friends and family and they also have high praise. If youâre looking for an honest shop to have your car diagnosed or serviced, then come here!
Had a great experience at Car-X. Worked with the manager PJ who you can tell really knows his stuff and cares about the cars. As the manager you can tell he understands the difference between whatâs good and bad for your car and will treat your car like itâs his own. Overall I feel very confident that I was in good hands and will go back for my future repairs.

This place is TOP NOTCH!!!!! I lost my wiper blade on my way home on Yankee Doodle road during a SNOWSTORM!!!! I walked in to Car X and there were 2 managers on duty! They both worked to find the best solution for my wiper since they didnât have the one my car required!! I appreciated their friendliness and professionalism!!!! I had a punctured tire and went to 2 shops before this. Both of them didn't look and said flat run tires cannot be repaired.I googled and found that it can be repaired if its running with air pressure which was my case.I went to this shop and NOAH checked the tire and be repaired and gave the appointment. From the minute I walked through the door they were kind, courteous, and listened to my concerns. After dealing with a vehicle that was still plagued with issues cats by a hit and run driver, it was nice to finally have it working the way it should again. I will definitely be back, and soon to deal with those brakes as well as shocks.Wish i could give more than 5 stars!

We came in today (on Labor Day of course) with a rusted-on license plate that we had really tried everything with. Noah dropped everything to come to our aid, and figured out a creative solution for us. He did it completely out of kindness, seeing our frustration at being defeated by rusty bolts, and sending us on our way in just a few minutes, free of charge. I called in needing help with a head light on my car and Noah told me to come in. Right when I arrived he was ready to fix my problem. They did a great job and provided awesome service. I will definitely bring my car here next time it needs to be fixed.
An excellent shop. Noah at the front desk went above and beyond to help me with my tires; he even helped me arrange the tow. The pricing was fair, service was quick and knowledgeable, and they even diagnosed and fixed my air conditioning problem at the same time. I did not feel talked down to like I have in shops before. I will be making this Car X my regular shop.
My husband has a mustang GT that needed new struts(?). Since he is currently deployed I decided to get them fixed for him as a surprise. However, it is a standard transmission so I cannot move it. Noah came and drove it to the shop for me while I followed in my car. When it was done he drove it back home for me too! He also helped me put a window decal on it, which I donât believe is in scope of what this shop does. He is amazing and this was one of the best experiences Iâve had at a car shop!
Great to find people that care! I pulled in with a heat shield dangling that I couldnât pull off on my own and Noah came out and got it off within a minute! I went to the Eagan location and received fast courteous service. When i called later with a question, i was treated very well even though the shop was closing. Will definitely continue to bring my vehicles.
Took my car in to them that had been sitting a while. Noah walked me through all of the maintenance and repair items that my car needed, showing me which parts were bad and why. The price was very reasonable and they got everything fixed same day. This car has never driven so well since I have owned it. I definitely will be back.
Definitely the place to go for fair honest service. To many places only care about getting a high dollar ticket. Noah was super knowledgeable and honest with me about my vehicle and didnât try to sell me 6 things I didnât need like most other shops in town. Rob and Scott are very skilled mechanics. If you need service on your vehicle this is the place to go!
Fantastic Customer Service! They explained everything and were so polite when they called and when I picked up my car! Most places will try to nickle and dime you, but they told me what things could wait a while and what I needed to get done ASAP.
